Halal Certification

Our Approach

WHAT IS HALAL

“Halal” means permissible in Arabic. A Halal-certified product meets Islamic requirements regarding ingredients, processing, hygiene, handling, and overall integrity throughout the supply chain.

Categorizations of Products

Halal (Permitted)

Products, ingredients, and processes that fully comply with Islamic dietary and ethical guidelines.

Haram (Prohibited)

Products and processes that are not allowed in Islam—such as pork and its derivatives, alcohol, intoxicants and mishandling or cross-contamination with said products.

Mashbuh (Doubtful)

Categories that raise concern or Products or ingredients whose Halal status is uncertain due to unclear sources or processing methods. These require investigation before a ruling can be made.

Makruh (Disaconcejadp)

Items or practices that are not Haram but are discouraged in Islam. While still technically permissible, they are avoided when possible.

Why It Matters

Halal is not limited to food—it also applies to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, supplements, ingredients, nutraceuticals, chemicals, manufacturing practices, packaging, and logistics.
